Check out my TED Talk:

My talks take listeners through my family’s multi-generational story of exile and survival, through the mission of my father, inventor and futurist Ray Kurzweil, to ‘resurrect’ his father through AI and archival documents, to my own role as an artist and archivist of human data. With humor, playfulness, and as big a screen as you’ve got to offer, I navigate philosophical questions about the nature of human memory and identity, offering a framework for understanding character-based AI as artistic representations that can help us memorialize the past and envision our future. My presentations are immersive, showcasing lush hand-made drawings. My cartoon world exemplifies the emotional side of our AI moment: a human’s hand grappling with her unique machine past and our collective machine future. You’ll come away with a deeper understanding of how to stay a real human in this age of digital artifice.
